Nursing Care

It’s worth remembering that many of our homes offer both residential and nursing care. If a person currently needs personal care, but has an illness or disability that may require nursing care in the future, considering a care home that offers both residential and nursing care so as their needs change, they don’t have to move homes, providing a home for life.

This type of care often includes social and medical care to ensure the resident has a good quality of life and that their specific needs are met. We take the time to get to know our residents so we can offer the care and support they both want and need, including everything from their care needs to how they like to take their tea and their preferred time to wake up in the morning.

Nursing care is similar to residential care, but with a team of qualified nurses to give 24-hour support to people with a medical condition, where that care can’t be provided by care staff alone. We can also offer 1:1 care packages where there is a requirement for additional and dedicated assistance.

Our nursing teams are supported by a local GP and external healthcare practitioners, ensuring our residents receive the best care.

Whatever their care needs, personalised care plans are created for each individual that not only look at care needs but also help us to get to know the person, their life stories, and preferences so that they can truly feel at home.
